KINGDOM OF SORROW's self-titled album opened with 6,000 copies back in February 2008 to land at No. 131.
"Behind The Blackest Tears" was released in the U.S. on June 8 via Relapse Records. The CD was recorded at Dexter Lab Recordings in Milford, Connecticut with engineer Nick Bellmore and was mixed and mastered by Chris "Zeuss" Harris at Planet Z Recordings in Hadley, Massachusetts.
Commented Jasta: "I'm really excited about the KINGDOM OF SORROW album because I feel like I really went all out this time. I love the first album but I brought way better riffs to the table this time and really brought a different vocal style on a lot of tracks. I think this new album is much more memorable and that the songs are really catchy but still heavy and raw."
KINGDOM OF SORROW embarked on a 70-city tour in support of its debut CD and took part in the Ozzfest and Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival tours. KINGDOM OF SORROW also released three music videos from the record.
